Politecnico di Milano Business School
MIP Politecnico di Milano Business School is a consortium made between Politecnico University and numerous industrial and institutional partners. This partnership among companies and the university enables MIP to implement a specialized know-how, typical of its academic component.
MIP offers 13, long-training programs (over 300 classroom hours), 8 of which are master programs.
As a whole, about 500 students participate in these courses every year. The School is also involved in executive training: ad hoc-designed interventions are tailored around the specific needs of the client and a catalogue of short term managerial training courses is offered on various topics. MIP Politecnico di Milano in cooperation with various departments of the Politecnico, promotes applied research activities. This set of activities takes into account all the developmental needs of different markets (large companies, small to medium businesses, public administration) in the fields of management and corporate strategy, manufacturing logistics and information technology. MIP Politecnico di Milano is an institutional member of the European Foundation for Management Development (efmd).
Two Airports (Linate and Malpensa) connect the city of Milan to the most important European and Extra-European cities. The school is located in Milan’s northern area, and it can be easily reached by car and public transport.
MBA Program
The MBA program is a 15 month, full-time program, starting in March and ending in May of the following year. The program is composed of a “classroom chapter” (one year) by the MIP structure and a full-time working project (three months) inside corporations or consulting firms. During this last period each student will join a work group that will apply major managerial and organizational changes on a given project. The program is divided into two classes, one in Italian and the other in English. The class-size is small (50 students maximum) and it provides an optimal faculty/students ratio.
