SLUSaint Louis University

----- Madrid Campus -----

With 35 years of experience, our Madrid campus is unquestionably the premier U.S. university in Spain. We are a fully integrated branch campus of Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, which ranks today as one of the world's leading Jesuit universities. In addition to providing the most complete semester study abroad program in Spain, students from all over the world come to our campus to begin their university studies and spend two to three years in Madrid before transferring either to our home campus in St. Louis or to another U.S. university to complete their bachelor’s degree. This mix of Spanish, U.S., and international students, as well as an exceptionally varied menu of courses across disciplines, sets our campus apart from traditional study abroad programs.

We offer over 100 courses per year and the most complete extracurricular program of any foreign university in Spain. What's more, our campus boasts two newly remodeled buildings and four new computer labs with full internet access. If Spanish is your passion, you can opt to spend all four years in Madrid and graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Saint Louis University.

Study International Nursing on the Madrid Campus and graduate with a dual degree: a Bachelor of Nursing from Saint Louis University and Diplomatura en Enfermería from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. Here is how it works: You spend two years on the Madrid Campus, the third year at the Saint Louis University School of Nursing in St. Louis, MO and the fourth year back in Madrid at the Universidad Autonoma. Two degrees. A career on two continents!

Study abroad in Spain and explore Latin America at the same time with our Certificate in Ibero-American Studies. Over the course of two semesters (or one semester and one summer) in residence in Madrid, you take courses on the history, politics, economics, culture and art of Iberia (Spain and Portugal) and Latin America.

Study Abroad: Options for full-year, fall or spring semester, or summer session abroad
