Ravensbourne

Ravensbourne

Ravensbourne is a university sector college with a distinctive culture and creative tradition. Our purpose built, single site campus, is set in 18 acres of private parkland in south London.

Ravensbourne's distinctiveness is based on the creative exploitation of digital technologies in design and communications, within a lively interdisciplinary learning community.

We've differentiated ourselves from other institutions through our vision and commitment to develop leading edge, specialist education supported by our links with the creative industries.

Our mission is to "creatively apply digital technology to design and communication". It drives our thinking and strategic direction, and underpins our reputation and distinctiveness within the international design and communication communities.

Ravensbourne prides itself on the provision of innovative and dynamic educational opportunities and seeks to encourage creativity and enterprise. Our students participate in a number of competitions; see their achivements here.

The College enjoys strong relationships with employers in the creative industries and Ravensbourne students are consistently successful in both gaining employment and in winning national awards for the quality of their work.
Ravensbourne is set in 18 acres of private parkland in the London Borough of Bromley and at the time of writing, the College is planning to move to a new state-of-the-art campus on the Greenwich Peninsula in south-east London. The College’s relocation is planned for 2007–2008 and students will be kept fully informed of these exciting plans.
The University of Sussex has validated Ravensbourne’s undergraduate and postgraduate courses since 1996.
